Where is packet pick up?
- Packet pick up is at Bozeman Running Company, 126 East Main Street
- from 11am-1pm on Saturday, June 20th
- please please please pick up your packet today
- Race day packet pick up will be from 6:30am - 7:00am at Race HQ at the Bellach Park in Three Forks (race site)
- Race day packet pick up is reserved for those heading in from out of town on race day. If you are local (or already in the Gallatin Valley) please pick up your packet on Saturday, June 20th
- Is this an open water swim?
- Yes. Please make sure part of your training includes prep work in open water swimming and acclimatizing to colder water temperatures. Weekly practice will help with this.
- Do I need a wetsuit?
- It is your choice to wear a wetsuit or not. Water temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid 60's. We will update this in the weeks preceding race day
- Where can I buy a wetsuit?
- There are many manufacturers of triathlon-specific wetsuits, use an internet search to find one that meets your needs

Swim to Transition Area:
- There is a short walk/run from the swim exit to transition area. It is an asphalt path. It is approximately a tenth of a mile.
- Do I need my own bike?
- Yes, you will need to bring your own bike (road, mountain, fat, or fixie bike)
- Please make sure your bar ends are capped
- Is the bike course all on pavement?
- Yes
- Regarding athletes who are racing the Olympic distance event: there is a turnaround section when you are about to start your second lap. Take it easy and watch for outgoing bikers from transition area. You will have plenty of distance after the turnaround to make up some speed.
Run:
- What is the run course like?
- The run course is an asphalt trail
- The run course is flat
- Each course (Sprint or Olympic is and out and back)
- Run of the left hand side of the trail
- Pay attention; look for the turnaround cones for your perspective race (Sprint or Olympic)
- Yellow cones will mark the course
- as you head to your perspective turnarounds, the cones will be on your left
